Heather teaches Zimbabwe songs on these wonderful wooden instruments. The music is infectious, high energy and will keep your toes tapping for a long time.
Linda
Linda Vogt is a writer, photographer and retired college journalism instructor. Her first instrument, in high school, was the baritone ukulele. She has played mandolin since 1990, when she began learning fiddle tunes by ear. Linda produces concerts for the four-woman acoustic folk group, Motherlode, and is one of the organizers of the annual Northwest Women's Music Celebration, better known as the Motherlode Music Weekend. Linda has participated in the Puget Sound Guitar Workshop every summer for 25 years. She lives outside of Portland with her trusty terrier mix, Scout.

Always a journey, Mary Ellen makes a safe and creative space to explore the universe inside and out. We all walk away with a delightful morsel of understanding with a splash of humor thrown in.
Michele
Traditional West African Drumming
Michele drums with her whole body and soul. Long entrenched in the Boise drumming community, she revs us up with lovely songs from Africa. All levels of drumming are included in the sessions.
Michele will also lead a Integrative Restoration – iRest® Yoga Nidra Meditation Saturday and Sunday mornings. Integrative Restoration (iRest) is a trans formative practice derived from the ancient teachings of meditation that leads to psychological, physical, and spiritual healing.

We are fortunate to have someone of Pat's caliber to teach guitar this year. She has an incredible repertoire of songs to share and, with her gift of teaching, will get the guitar players rocking out before they know what hit them.
